Defeat Anime RNG Guide: How the Game Plays, Loop by Loop

Understand the Defeat Anime RNG loop, start the in-game tutorial, and find the right references for rolling, merging, combat, waves, zones and early boosts.

Defeat Anime RNG is a Roblox game by creator Defeat Anime Bosses. Its official loop is to roll for anime units, merge them to raise their levels, fight anime bosses, survive enemy waves, and unlock new zones while collecting rare units and mutations. Start with the in-game tutorial, then use the system references below for the next decision you need to make.

Start with the in-game tutorial

Follow the yellow arrows rather than skipping the opening objectives. The documented tutorial has six checkpoints and provides the gold used to begin progression. Its first roll gives Gobu for the red-carpet path; the second gives Veteka for another slot. The Upgrades tab then introduces a free upgrade and the 100-gold 2 Enemies purchase.

Recorded first sessions also show an objective to attack an enemy five times and a visit to the Plaza blacksmith for a first weapon. These are tutorial observations, not a promise that every later update keeps the same costs or objectives. Follow the current arrows and prompts if they differ.

These references explain their own systems and identify details that remain unconfirmed. The table is a navigation map, not an invented mandatory purchase order or a complete merge-interface walkthrough.

Rolling and choosing a lineup

Rolling continues throughout progression. A rare label alone does not tell you whether a unit is the best choice for your current team: traits, stars and evolution can change the numbers you see. Read the unit's displayed DPS and compare candidates under similar conditions.

Use the tier list's observed unit comparisons when deciding which units to keep or develop. It separates single-session observations from a complete or official ranking. Keep the unit reference open for identity and label questions rather than assuming every unfamiliar label is a different base unit.

Merging, stars and traits

The official description ties unit leveling to merging. Recorded play also shows the Plaza Evolution stand changing Gobu into Gobu (Super), while another session levels units by sacrificing units of the same level. Evolution and merging are related growth decisions, but their interfaces and outcomes should not be treated as interchangeable.

Star Shards are used for starring units up, and Trait Shards are used to roll traits. For the distinction between level, rarity and other modifiers, continue with unit levels, mutations, and Trait Shards.

Combat and zone progression

Placed units fight enemy waves, and your character can fight alongside them. The tutorial introduces the blacksmith and personal weapon; a recorded first session shows attacks connecting at close range. For placement and reading a battle, use the combat reference instead of treating one creator's lineup as automatically suitable for your account.

Gold buys upgrades and zone access. A documented first session purchases Sand Island through the zone panel and can return to an earlier area when the new one is too hard. Death Castle is another documented destination, but those observations do not establish a universal order for every zone. The unlocking reference and zone directory keep access questions separate from area lookup.

Early aids and later decisions

For optional free rolls, shards or potions, check the current codes reference and redemption steps. This overview does not repeat a code list whose status can change.

The official listing also offers extra luck for liking the game and joining its group; the group luck bonus reference explains that requirement. Later sessions show prestige and Infinite Tower, but accounts differ about exactly what prestige resets. Check the current interface before relying on a remembered reset rule.

For your next action, finish the tutorial, identify the loop step you are working on, and open its reference above. Keep comparisons tied to your current units and growth state rather than copying an undated video number or assuming a fixed progression order.
